For my client - this was finishing work earlier on a Friday to spend more time with her friends.

This all started on a Friday with her emails. My client was running a bit late to start our consult as she was replying to emails, catching up on billing and offboarding customers asking for reviews. Email comms are a large part of her day and after we audited her biz ops, we noticed she was sending a particular review request email over and over every week to every customer they worked with.

The standard email took around 10 minutes to write and send from scratch. Not a massive amount of time in her day but we realised it was adding up with the number of clients the business served a year.

Implementing a template took about 5 minutes to write and send which sped up the process slightly. An improvement but I knew we could do better.

We set up an email automation which took 30 minutes with the template prewritten and connecting 2 app integrations - to nudge their email app to fire the email template a couple of weeks after the payment app sent off the final invoice.

Last year, the automation had fired 150 times.

Quick math time:

10 minutes x 150 = 1500 minutes / 60 = 25 hours

Through this automation - they also passively gained 25 reviews on Google Reviews and Facebook from very happy customers that were willing to share their feedback. Win win!
